Jessica Montemayor has been a member of the State Bar of Texas in the real estate and construction sections since 2010. Prior to practicing law, Jessica worked for the State Legislature in Austin serving as Communications Director to a Texas State Representative and later as the Field Operations Director for a local State Representative. Jessica began her legal career primarily in general litigation and specializing in foreclosure defense asserting novel issues before the state and federal courts under wrongful foreclosure causes of action brought to light after the economic downturn in 2009.

In 2012, Jessica joined the Simpson Law team representing both homeowners and corporate clients in matters involving residential and commercial litigation as well as transactional issues related to lease drafting and negotiations and transfers of title. Jessica has also expanded her areas of practice to include probate and estate planning, family law matters, and general corporate planning. Recently, Jessica has handled a number of construction litigation matters involving construction lien law and the Texas Residential Construction Act.

Jessica has been involved in the Crossfit community since 2012 and considers Crossfit her true love second only to her family. Jessica is married to Allen who owns a construction company in Richardson in which Jessica plays a large role in the daily operations of the business. After marrying in 2013, Jessica and her husband Allen welcomed their two daughters, Abbott and Archer in 2015 and 2016. They are currently expecting their first son due in November 2018 and have made their home in Richardson, Texas.
