Founded by veteran real estate attorney Mabel Simpson, the legal & escrow team is well-equipped to handle all facets of the real estate transaction, both complex & simple.

Founder Mabel Simpson is a Texas licensed attorney with a 30+ year background in real estate, including oil, gas, water & land, (including exploration & development; refining industry, real estate lending & mortgage, IRC 1031, including surface and subsurface title examination). After graduating college and paralegal school in 1980, Simpson started out as a landman working in the oil and gas field services for lease acquisition and drill site acquisition.
Simpson received her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. After graduating from law school, she ultimately moved into private law practice servicing real estate, oil, gas and mineral clients, performing curative, leasing, and conducting due diligence for banking institutions and energy companies in the sale and acquisition of portfolios of real property.
Simpson served on the Richardson City Council from 2015-2019 and is a graduate of Leadership Richardson. Throughout her career, she has been involved in Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling of Richardson, the Richardson Hospital Board, the St. Paul School Board, and various other civic and community organizations. Simpson is a member of the Legislative Committee – Texas Land Title Association.
